About Phoenix Learning
Phoenix Learning is an online training and resource platform developed to support the Kickstart Scheme, which required participants to undergo workplace training as part of their placement. We collaborated with Phoenix Learning to create a user-friendly, engaging digital platform designed to equip young people with essential workplace skills. With training being a mandatory component of the scheme, Phoenix Learning needed a straightforward yet effective delivery solution—and that’s exactly where we came in.
The Challenge
Website: Phoenix Learning needed a smart, all-in-one solution—something that would not only showcase their services to potential customers but also provide a reliable and secure platform for students to access and complete their courses. The goal was to create an intuitive platform that guided learners through their training while reflecting the professionalism of the Kickstart Scheme.
Our Approach
Learning Portal:
The second system we built was a custom learning portal using React and Laravel. It gave teachers an easy way to upload resources, lessons, and tests through a bespoke content management system. Students could log in, access their materials, and complete tests – once they passed, they’d automatically go to the next course.
We also provided hosting and tech support for both of the systems, ensuring they were reliable and secure for the teachers and students accessing learning materials.
The Results & Impact
The system allowed Phoenix Learning to deliver remote training to Kickstart Scheme placements, using interactive tools like quizzes and surveys to make learning more engaging and effective. It made a real impact – helping them support more students while delivering a high-quality, scalable training experience.
